Adjustable or a seating stop at the depth you want every time could be handy

Can you tell me if you use a .177 pellet seater tool? Not looking for a pellet pen type loader, just a pellet seating tool.
If you have one, did you make if yourself?
How did you make it?
If so, can you please post some pictures of it.

If you purchased one, could you please post some pictures and comment on how you like it.
Thanks

All fantastic ideas for a pellet seater.
THANKS for showing and if there is any more they are more than welcome!
Goofing around the shed and a old bolt bucket

Adjustable 🥴

So a guy could go hardware store and make one up with new shinny instead of old bolt bucket 😉

Very nice!

Like that it's depth-adjustable. I'll make up a couple up (.177 & .22) later.

I've been using a piece of delrin rod shaped to that profile on the lathe. Works fine but it's not adjustable.

Cheers!

Great timing on the pellet seater post, I'm shooting springers on Saturday. 😁

I checked the hardware bin and ended up using a 3/16", 2" long eye-bolt and a piece of gas-hose to make the seater.

The hose was a tight fit and had to be threaded onto the bolt with some silicone grease. I added a piece of parachute cord with a sliding knot so I could adjust the length of the loop so that the seating tool conveniently comes to hand whe I reach down for it.

Will be testing it out tomorrow!

Cheers!

In my zeal to get a given breech to accept ALL pellets, I may have sanded/reamed a few barrels out to where my thumbnail can't seat short pellets snugly. I find that these don't shoot as accurately as when I push them in snugly. I use another pellet to push them in. But my pellets are hard tin, so I can push all I want and not mush either one. The plastic pocket clip on a bic pen cap also works as a consistent soft seat tool, as it can bend and will bend if the pressure is too great.
