.177 nsa 15.5 slugs

Accuracy comes before all else. From what I've experienced, and from what others who I trust have used the .177 slug have said is that 700-750fps is the sweet spot for the slugs shooting from an LW barrel. If you have physical evidence showing your hypothesis I am more than happy to look it over and discuss more. Thank you.

I have a prototype SS valve in mine. I've shot the 33gr beasts in .22 at 60fpe. I'll have no issue getting the heavy .177s up to speed. 

John, yes I will have all 3 weights. The 15.5gr, 18gr, and 21gr.

I just tried these out of my Benjamin Maximus 22 at 30 yards. The 21gr (lightest ones) did miserably.....3" group.

They did okay out of my S410 TDR though.

It would be nice to get them as accurate as JSB pellets.

If you can get 3/4" groups or so at 50yd its good enough. The nice thing about the slugs is in a wind that will open your best pellets group the slug only shifts left or right. The group's don't open up.

My .177 Mrod is ready to go. Shooting the AA 10.3gr at 1100fps lol excited to see how the slugs will do. Should be here tomorrow. On a side note all pellets were touching at 22yds even shooting super sonic so that's cool. At 900fps there one tiny hole so I know the barrel is good. Just hope the slugs like it

Nice having folks post some real world reports with a variety of common rifles.

I've got an AA that will hit just over 1,000fps w/10.5g and groups okay at that speed -currently set at 905fps- and I certainly never tried getting even more out of it but with the old AA oval port design........... .

Now we have ammo enablers, outstanding.

what if cast them with a, would say +/- 12gr + in .177 at that speed/power?

I believe nick had tried them at lighter weights but they didn't work at all...think they were too short

You should have no problems getting the 15.5g up to speed. You should try some.
