.177 avenger first kill

Received my .177 avenger the other day. Mounted a westhunter HD 4-16x44 ffp scope an got it sighted in at 30yds with 10g JSB knockout slugs. Waiting on my chronograph so I can really get this gun tuned to shoot the slugs I got for it.
Dove was shot at 38yds

Nice shot! Glad to see another .177 shooter. I think they are making a comeback since you now have a nice variety of .177 slug choices.

Nice looking rifle I have one just like it and bought a moderator off eBay made a big difference in sound, I tried some NSA slugs in mine couldn't get them to chamber but it shoots the Hades pellets accurately also the Crosman brown box 10.5gr pellets. congrats on the dove you got.

Nice shot, they are amazing wrapped in a piece of bacon and grilled.

However please be aware mourning doves are only permitted to be taken with shotgun and only when in season.

Thanks I got the 12.5s but haven’t been able to try em out yet waiting on a chronograph to test out the diff slugs I got. So far it’s shooting these jsb knockouts 10.3 pretty good

Most definitely now that there’s a couple of slugs to choose from. Makes the .177 a fun small game hunter
