What a fantastic pistol. I have the crosman silhouette and it seems to be a very similar pistol. I don’t think it shoots as fast and the barrel isn’t shrouded. For the power that it shoots tho, it’s still plenty quiet. I buy the carbine stock on it, mounted a scope, and went to pellet testing at 25yd. My results were much like yours. It shoots fantastically accurate for its size and power. I so wish I had a 50yds range at my house to push it out further. But as soon as I found the pellets it liked, I took it back down to an open sight pistol for 10m shooting. I truly know now, if I miss or am not shooting well, it’s me and truly not the pistol.

I much prefer the 1701P size over the 1720T for pure pistol work. The 1701P is still big, but I did find a holster to fit.

If you want to tune it for more power you can use the 1720T transfer port. If using as small carbine, the 1720T shroud and parts would make it very quiet. I have come close, a few times, to converting mine to a small carbine and doing so.

The 1720T makes a good carbine. I tune them for 15fpe w/10.3 AA pellets, for 22-23 shots. It is my goto red squirell gun at camp.
