1701P parts?

longer grips, how much longer ??? I gather you have a large paw

the only thing I can think of is ask Vernon Austin to make you some that past the bottom of the grip frame

and I would mock up something on your pistol for testing first

now the trigger, there is little room for much to change, Cothran Machine make a trigger but I think it would be shaped the same

again on the trigger I would make a filler for the factory triggers curve to see if you could come up with a solution and either weld the piece in or epoxy it in place

push it together

you know they make plastic beads that can be heated in water and formed into what you want, maybe longer grips and you can get them in black

I highly recommend putting a trigger shoe on. It made my trigger feel 24 times better.

Here's what I went with. Much cheaper ones available but I liked this one.

Trigger in the background.

The Trigger shoes I've used have the two grub screws and the shoe is not as long as the trigger blade so it can be moved up and down the blade while retaining its own curve and based on how high or low you place it along the trigger blade and how deep you set it against the blade. Mine is not completely flush with the blade itself because there was enough adjustment in the two screws for me to get it to what I liked most. It's hard to imagine until you start playing with it and adjusting it to your own actual finger.

thanks for the reply. I am looking up these parts. I like to shoot the pistol with a two hand grip. The corpsman grip is to short for me. I have had lots of pistols over the years. but the best handgun grip for my hands is a fas 6004 ambidextrous grip. I just wish I could get more velocity out of it.

I think one of those trigger shoes might work out if the trigger doesn't get to close to the front of the trigger guard
