I recently watched a video where a guy from Airgun Depot shot H&N .218 21Gr slugs at 35yds with a .4 inch group. I was wondering if the 17.5Gr NSA slugs would do as well as the H&N did.
I have been shooting the .216 17.5 gr NSA in my Air Arms S410 SL at about 890fps with good luck. I took a pigeon at 35 yards and a sparrow at 52 yards with them yesterday.
I am shooting the .216 17.5 slugs out of a kral puncher breaker and .39 inches at 50 yards and they hit hard. I shot a short video of them out on a friends property in the desert and they absolutely hit harder than the 18.1 gr jsb. I got them up to 890 to 900 fps average. I picked some critters off out to 70 yards. I am editing another video of the 18.1 gr jsb.
