I have a friend with 22cal gamo swarm he wanted to try slugs neilson has some 17.5 in all different diameter! Anyone know which one works best without having to buy all of them?

Every barrel usually has a slightly different size inside diameter so, yeah, finding the correct size slug can be expensive. You can also slug the barrel by pushing it thru and measuring the groove depth on the slug.....

You kinda need to test them, it's part of the game. That or accept the accuracy you recieve with whatever you choose. You can push a pellet thru your barrel or try and recover a shot one to measure and make an educated decision on what you want to try.
