Went to my permission after work. Took 16 birds, recovered 14. Spent two hours and the action was good. Got into a groove where as I shot they flew off... misses piss me off. Then I settled in and punished them. All taken at 30 yards.
Excellent work! Clear out those invasives before they nest.
My folks just raised their martin house and put out the bluebird and tree swallow houses. I am sure they have traps out for the sparrows, or "spatzees" as my grandparents called them.
@puddleglum, many of these were nesting pairs, I used to feel bad about taking out the nesters, but not any more... Only came home because it was dinner time. The action was good today...
@gerry52, furthest kill on starlings, 40 yards... Plinking in my yard I can, in mild conditions, consistently hit chewed black walnut husks out to 60 yards. All the targets below are at my 60 yard line, I can hit them all consistently with the Atomic.
