Good morning all, just wanted to share. This was before I got my Atlas cal, I never thought I would own a $300 bipod! Now I can not imagine how I went so many years without one!!! Scope is a UTG 3-9, as I mentioned in another thread I bought rifle/scope for $190 it was my first PCP a.k.a. hit of crack hahaha. I am not the best shot, but I think all things considered not bad at that distance with this equipment. Take care and Godspeed all.

Yes I got the variety pack from NSA. The .2165 was the best followed pretty closely by the .217. I get pretty much the same accuracy from the .2165 as I do JSB pellets. The 18g JSB and the 17.5gn slugs have nearly identical POI, but obviously the farther out the slug definitely shoots flatter and bucks wind better. This was my first time shooting that far and I definitely am not the best shot! To be fair to myself, I did not have a bipod or rear bag, just front bag. I would imagine with the bipod and rear bag and more time should do much better.

Yeah, those items do make a big difference. I often judge myself a bit when I shoot longer distances but then I remember I'm either shooting off the car window, I'm layed out prone with my hand or wallet acting as a rest, or leaning against a tree lol. Great stuff though!

Hi Zesty. Since you have an Atlas CAL bipod, you might want to check out this thread if you haven't already. It's a couple of simple mods. The Nickel-alloy belleville mod and the carbon-fiber Smoothdrag mod. It's not something I sell. It's just a couple of washers that really transform the Pod-loc functionality making it much better.

Also be careful as there are Chinese knockoff Atlas bipods that sell for $10.

Only way we found to spot the difference is the notched aluminum plate. Knockoff is pressed, the Atlas is machined.

Mine came with a rifle i bought (at no extra cost).

Thanks for the headsup stovepipe, much appreciated! I have no doubt the bipod is the real deal....I got it from Primary Arms for like $300 so it better be real!!! hahaha
Hi Zesty. That was Ratzy that warned about fake Atlas stuff. The modifications I pointed you to (link) are two that I and Grackleblast did to our authentic Atlas CAL Gen 2 bipods to seriously improve the functionality of the Pod-loc lever. The mods are only intended to work on authentic Atlas CAL gen 2 bipods. I had no doubt that yours is authentic. Happy shooting!

I buy a lot from AliExpress and Alibaba and knockoffs abound. I try to avoid them, like the Huben Power regulators on AliExpress.

This one came attached to a gun i bought. I was pretty sure it was a knockoff but couldn't spot the tell. I knew if I asked here the people that own the real deal would figure it out and they did.

Buying domestic from reputable dealers usually garners authentic parts. But it never hurts to check.

where in the fill cycle did you get that cluster in the neck? i'd fill to that pressure and utilize solely that range if you're hunting. That vertical stringing is likely only due to velocity changes. definitely not bad for 150 unsupported with a 3-9
