13mm Dovetail to Weaver Adapter

Presto! I found a 13mm dovetail to picatinny adapter for the HW45 / HW75. Need a mini reflex dot now.

not a fan... the weaver rail is adjusted in width depending on how tight or tightly machined the dovetail rail is made... not all have the same good tolerance as others.

the weaver, or picatinny rail should be independent from the tightness or size of the 11mm rail clamping device.
I totally agree.
I foolishly bought these type of adapter from Amazon. because I wanted a low profile adapter. I thought I had that thing tightened down tight. Man was I wrong. One day I was carrying my rifle via its sling, the scope hit my shoulder and popped off!!! and the scope dropped to the floor. #$^%@ useless adapter.

Don't know if the it's made by the same manufacturer,...but beware...of this design.

I got a set of these but they were UTG.. Poor design compared to the Eaglevision dovetail to pic adapters. The ones I got didn't center the scope at all and were fairly janky.

interesting discussion folks.. I decided to mount a red dot on my HW45.. Used a UTG DN460 rail (used earlier on my Diana 54) that was lying around, sawed to shorter length, cut, super-glued styrene to offset 1-2mm, and painted with acrylic.

I was lazy to cut a longer section so used three small square pieces of styrene.
(As a model railroader I have these styrene sheets always, but you can get them in hobby shops)

Anyone having a 11mm dovetail to weaver/picatinny and want to adapt to 13mm can try this, so that the rail does not tilt when screwed on tight.
