I have been working on my 1377 over the past week trying to get it to shoot, the trigger was pretty heavy and creepy. I disassembled the gun and made all new pins for a more precise fit, polished the sear and trigger surfaces to a mirror finish and changed out the sear spring to a lighter one. I now have a trigger that breaks at 48 oz with no creep. Also changed out the breach to a longer one with a rail for a scope it came from AirGun Mods and looks to be very well made and solid. Also added a trigger shoe.
My past life was working on firearms for the past 40+ years, having retired and turning over the shop to my oldest son I can now play with other neat stuff.
I bought three cans of pellets two were Crosman Premier wad cutter and pointed and one can of Gamo pointed, out of all of them the Crosman Premeir pointed 7.6 grains worked the best for this test. My back yard range at this time is only 32 feet. Haven't tried for fps testing yet. I am using 5 pumps for now and am waiting for some 10g pellets if Amazon will ship.
I have been collection Crosman guns for a while and hope to get some of the others working as well The group was shot off of sandbag rest. five shots.
Anyhow that's my story.
