I have a leaking exhaust valve on an old rear cocking plastic receiver. The synthetic seal is gone.I used a pic to scrape it all out. What can I use to replace it? Just an o-ring? Thanks!
FWIW, I worked on a Crosman pistol from the 1950s for a friend and resealed it with O-rings as any modern airgun so I expect the 1377 first introduced in the late 70s is no different.
If it's for the Transfer port the poly refrigerator line werqs very well for a T-port. A piece of macro line from the paintball addition would werq also. So, many things werq well if properly sized for the transfer port on these guns.
If you decide to go with some type of tubing stuff a dowel or rod of some sort in the tube and roll a razor knife on it to get a straight cut which you will need for a good seal.
I got a new transfer port gasket from the interwebs. I am referring to the seal under the "brasshat" It has the brass valve and the synthetic gasket in the brass exhaust seal is totally gone now.
