1322 Victory!

So every gun I buy is for hunting and prepping purposes. I liked the 1322 for its small light backpacking size and wieght. But it was getting only 8 or 9 fpe. I like to use 12 fpe for small game so after litterally blood sweat and a healthy amount of cursing... Then begging gods forgiveness for my blasphemy I finnaly finished my 1322 project. Stock my 1322 was putting out 460fps at 10 pumps with 14.3cph. It is now putting out 640fps at 25 pumps with no air left over in the valve. More importantly im getting 520 to 530 fps at 10 pumps. This is perfect for me heres a list of all the parts I had to put into it to get it where its at. Also I will be making a post with detailed instructions on how to do the work in case anyone needs the help.

14.3in crosman barrel "polished"

Alliance hobby flat man pack which includes larger transfer port, flat top valve, piston heavy spring and extra o rings.

Alchemy airworks metal breech that allows the use of original rear sight. "awsome by the way" also from aaw a new stainless steel bolt and roll pin.

Front sight from Benjamin disco

I will be doing some more such as painting it and getting a small scope and fixing ergonomics with pvc and pool noodle and possibly getting the 2250 fatter forearm to prevent pinching. Thanks to all of you that helped me and also I can reccomend alliance hobby and alchemy airworks. Both respond to emails and both sent out the product the same day I ordered it.

Awesome man! Sounds like tons of fun minus the “blashphemin”🤬😮🥺😁. I love these guns ! I don’t currently own one but several do reside between my coasts. The one I love the most is one I built for one of my seven sons! It’s a 2289 backpacker. Fully shrouded, steel breech, flat top piston , welded linkage on forgrip/ pump handle, and the main pivot is bored out to receive a hardened steel bushing,it’s silver soldered in with anAllen head polished pivot bolt. Do you have any pictures posted or could you possibly? Thanks for sharing

Hallelujah!!! It ain’t me I can’t take the credit it’s how I’m designed!!🤣😆😂 Only six are here with me at the house unfortunately ,but of them only the six year old and three yr old aren’t shooting yet. The six-year-old did tell me he wants an Edgun leshiy though!🔥🔥🔥 HecK I want one too!!! Here’s a picture of a bull pup he and I built.

i look forward to seeing the pictures!

Ok so a quick rundown. I tore gun apart. Used a square dowel with 500 grit to round all edges. Then i used 1000 grit to smoth them all out. I probably spent more time than needed but I wanted it right. Then I put a 12 guage copper brush on my drill and started polishing the tube. Then pushed 1000 grit into the tube a million times. Mirror finished. Assembled the gun with harder spring flat top piston and valve and a stainless roll pin and new stainless bolt. Took a pic of it on my bench and went out back to shoot. I was amazed at how much power that thing can handle. Oh yeah the pic of the valve being offset a little was a road block. Alliance hobby emailed me like 2 hours after I asked them about it and clarifyed that crosman valves do the and to twist it straight. Thats how they are designed to be. Anyway gun done and hitting at 13 to 15 fpe on a 14.5in barrel I was very happy. So I drilled into the stock and put a 1.5in pvc pipe on for cheek rest. I also got a rubber cork thing that im going to stick in there to make a seal and inside Ill put an emergency kit. Pellets, silicone grease screwdriver allan wrench maybe fishing line, hooks, matches etc... Anyway I painted it real quick so I can be invisible to squirrels and thats it. I am going to buy some scooe rings and put my gamo 4x fixed power on it. Im keeping the open sights in emergency but cheek weld is to high for every day use.

So how about you and I make an arranged marriage between your 6 year old son and my 6 year old daughter? A guy with 7 sons clearly gets it. My daughter already shoots lights out with the p700w and I read the bible to her every day. Im raising her to get married and have... well 7 sons. What do you say why dont we merge airgun families and win this culture war!

LOL there’s nothing more honorable I would rather be a part of my friend!

Keep up the awesome work not only on the Great build but on the awesome parenting !

And you know I appreciate the kind words but I think it’s a greater sign when a man understands that it’s not by bread alone !

How old was she when she started shooting ? Regardless I better get him started shooting as soon as possible so that he’s not ashamed when they meet at their first competition 😁.

She was shooting at 3 and a half with daddy holding the rifle and her pulling the trigger. First gun was savage lilrascle. As trust built she was shooting by herself at 4 hitting bowling pins at 15 yards with peep sights. Now she shoots my p700w 177 at 20 yards with a osprey red dot and kills army men and dinosaurs. Im about to take away the red dot tho. Its a crutch. I think by 7 she will go up to my property on the ca, wa border and hunt rabbit. I have never been more proud of a person than her. Shes a soldier of christ and a natural airgunner.
