I was using the original PRS single shot loader, until I found out that the pellet has a good chance (and did) of falling out of the back of the loader and into the rear inner block of your rifle (GHOST) if loading with the gun on a rearward angle. Had to take the block apart to clean out the pellets that fell into the inner workings of the gun. Wonder if the aftermarket version posted addresses this problem. It looks just like one posted. The PRS one is well made, but needs an o-ring or something to keep tension on the pellet to keep it from falling out.

I saw the new version. Looks like a much better design. To bad the original isn't trustworthy. Wasted money.

I know 2 people that just hand load and they have become pretty fast at it. I use the Carm single shot tray and really like it. You won't win a speed competition with it, but for bench work it is great.

When they are putting the pellet into the chamber by hand I have never heard/seen one fall backwards.....It was the older PRS loader that would let the pellet fall backwards.

When that happened to me I never thought that a pellet will fall on the back of the loader, I end up removing the back end to clean a lot of led shavings , I remember shooting 20gr slug , actually I was blaming the slugs 
and trying to make sense on (what happened) until I call AOA on Monday and they explain what could’ve happened

No. I've got the Carm Single Shot Loader for my .22 Ghost HP and the pellet cannot fall back. There is a small O ring that retains the pellet in place. It works great.
