1300-1400$ Airgun what should I get?

Hi all, I got an air arms S500, but had some more issues so I sent it back, and now I want to look into a more high end gun to shoot now. I’m thinking about gettting something like an FX Dream tactical with an aluminum bottle, or a Wildcat MK3 sniper. I was wondering if there’s any other guns I should look into before I make a decision.

Also, if I did get the Wildcat, does the Dreamline power plenum work on it?

You can't go wrong with the Uragan, Veteran or the Prophet. I've got it narrowed down to those three myself but can't decide! All great guns.

Sounds like they’re all great guns. I watched a few reviews on each and they all perform amazing. The only problem is that the only RTI prophet I can find is on Airguns of Arizona for 1700$ which is a little bit over my budget. Then for the Uragan since it has a massive CF bottle with a 300 bar fill might cook my Yong Heng pretty quickly. It’s been heating up to 50C when I was only filling guns to about 200 bar.

That only really leaves the Taipan so I’ll have to look into it more. Thanks for the info everyone!

I don’t fill mine past 250 and I can get over 100 shots.

This is something that you'll have to decide on. Aluminum stock, wood or synthetic. Single shot or magazine fed. A short bullpup or a 700mm barrel on an Impact. It's in your hands, make a list on what specifics you want. List each gun and save them in your favorites and compare them. Some one could tell me to get a multi thousand dollar Steyr. Would I be happy with it...NO...just not for me.

Just do some window shopping, I am sure you will come to a decision and be happy with it.

I was literally in the same exact position over this past week and after a ton of research and talking to many today I pulled the trigger on the veteran. Many people told me it was the way to go but like everyone has said there’s a lot of great guns in this price range and I was also told I wouldn’t be upset with any of them.

I agree. I think I’ve made the decision on either the dreamline or maybe the Uragan. I’m going more towards the dreamline because of its barrel liner system, and it has the adjustability, accuracy, shot count, the overall feel, and power of the impact. Even better, you can get a power plenum for cheap on the dreamline too.

I do like the Taipan, but the cocking lever way in the back and the stock were big downsides to me. But that’s just me. I hope you enjoy your new taipan!
