12V Portable PCP Compressor Carrying Case

Hey all,

If anyone is on the market for an affordable/durable carrying case for their portable compressor I would definitely recommend this guy I found on Amaz0n for $35:

This is a Deep Toolbox with a Long Handle which makes it very easy to carry. Originally meant for large tools storage comes in at 6.5 pounds (feels way less) and measures 17.25 x 12.63 x 13.25 inches which is the perfect size (compressor measures 12 x 8.7 x 5.3 inches) so You can fit the compressor + hose + spare parts. I added some padding foam on the sides for added protection and it works great.

Can you post a link please? That looks like something I could use. And what type of compressor is that in the photo you posted?

That particular compressor is the "Spritech" 12V PCP Air Compressor, Auto-shutoff 4500Psi, one of many 12V portable (and affordable) clones that seem to become more popular and available right now.

I know I’m late to this party….

For my PCP Kong Lil Foot compressor, I was all set to buy a nylon case on Amazon that’s marketed for Jackery portable power stations, but then I saw this post. I ordered the Dewalt instead. For just $4 more, it looks like a much better option. It should arrive tomorrow, so I’ll let you know how my compressor fits. Thanks for this!

The Dewalt toolbox arrived today from Home Depot ($40, got it in 2 days). Here are some photos of the Little Foot in the box. Everything that came with it fits nicely inside and in the top tray. The padding that came with the compressor can be used along the bottom and sides to provide some protection, and there’s room on the side for the air hose and the 12v cables. The toolbox comes with an additional black tray, but there’s not enough room on top of the compressor to make use of it. The top padding piece shipped with the compressor also won’t fit.

It’s not perfect, but at $40, it’s pretty darned good and should last much longer than the imported nylon case I almost bought. Thanks to the OP for bringing this to the forum!
