12ftlb in the wind

I thought it give 25 bulls a go at 25 yards tonight with my 12ftlb logun solo. Shooting falcon accuracy plus pellets. Was very windy tonight but though I would give it a bash anyway. 




here is is a short clip of the wind conditions. 

The falcon is the most accurate pellet I have found for the logun but unfortunately it has a terrible BC so I am told. It does get knocked about a fair bit in the wind.

Thanks jimmy, I still need plenty of practice in the wind, I used to always shy away from shooting in the wind rather than embrace it. Now I like to try to master it more... I have seen a big improvement already. Got lots more practicing to do still as always

Wind flags will really help you call the wind. You can get by with one, but 2 for 25 yards is even better. A third is beneficial if you're going to 50 or more.

You can use surveyors tape or a set of old underwear for that matter, but dedicated wind flags help make wind calling a little more predictable and a little less scary. .

Thanks Mark, I have made some using ribbon that I have been trying to use for 50 yard shooting and I'm still trying to get the hang of reading them. I Should have used them here, as you can see the wind was choppy and pushing the pellet left or right of the target, not one consistent direction.
