$1200 for a new gun!!!

I need a bigger stimulus check. Bought an FX Impact Compact .22. Still to come this year, Leshiy 2 and Delta Wolf Limited Edition. She wants me to have everything I want, and insists I buy brand new.

I didn’t get the full amount because of my income. Seeing how I still have been going to work every day, I just donated my money to ladies who are making masks for people. I think stimulus is the wrong term for these checks. Stimulus money is for blowing. These checks are for people who haven’t worked since this started and need it to survive. My credit card is still limping from the FX Dreamline and accessories purchase. I will just knock it down the old fashioned way.

Nothing wrong with buying a new gun.
However, helping those who are struggling to buy this week's groceries is not so much about who is a good shooter... – but who is a good human being.
I'm sure in our AG community there are others like you, Frank.
Who's starting a new thread on that topic, stimulating others to do the same and pitch in for the good of all?

My wife and i are retired. We get pension and retirement so we have not missed any income. We both agree that we would try to help others and have been doing that. Friends of ours have a pizza shop and closed to protect the employees and missed the first round of loans. My daughter and son in law are in the same situation, no work lost but still received $1200 each. Daughter told me she sent money to her hairdresser who is a single parent and no Unemployment checks yet. Some will be used to eat out when the restaurants open. We will do it more than normal so as to help the local mom and pop restaurants get back on their feet and up to speed again. Wife really likes the extra meals out option.

Well, Vetmx, you certainly took the wind out of the OPs sails with your post on this thread. I bet he was all excited to spend his free $1200 until you said you gave yours to charity. The guilt of owning whatever gun he would've gotten means it would be sold again in short order. Nice job.

For someone living paycheck to paycheck, sometimes a splurge like a new air rifle does more to lift someone's spirits than many of us can imagine. Just because you have food on the table doesn't mean you are okay.

Only gets me half way to a new Impact and a Power Plenum for my old Impact. Guess I shouldn't worry though, the wife already has the entire check spent. . . . . . .
