$ 1000.00 and Under PCP's

Hi Guys,

Recently was just sitting in my Man Cave / Gun Room admiring my airguns I realized that every gun i own i have a bare ass minimum of 3K in each one including mid priced scopes..

But sitting amongst those high end guns is one $ 429.00 gun . Now this gun does all the things the big boys do, adjustable regulator, adjustable hammer spring, yada yada,..

I spent very little time dialing this gun in, couple of quick turns here and there, clean the barrel , and i have an Extremely good shooting 50 yards and under Tack Driver , MOA all day at 50, at 33 you can cover the group with your pinky finger nail..

What is this you ask , Believe it or not it's an Avenger Wood Stock in .177 . unmolested with the exception of adding the 3D printed 55.00 Moderator/Barrel Sleeve that is being made by an AGN member ..

Ok I will Finally get to the point of this post

What is out there that checks these boxes

1) Under $ 1000.00

2) Regulated

3) Power Adjustable

4) Accurate ( not some what accurate sometimes, at least MOA groups at 33 - 50 yards )

5) Decent Shot Count ( at least 40-50 , Prefer Higher )

I'm curious to see the replies, i think i have looked at damn near everything out there , hopefully i missed a diamond in the rough ...

I like the DAR .22 cal. $300 regulated PCP with a sub-$100 scope on top. A nightmare for the chipmunks at the neighborhood permission. Just wicked with either JSB 15.9 or 18.1.

About 50 shots at 30fpe on a fill. The hammer spring tension is adjustable externally at the back of the receiver, however the regulator is internal.

It can sit idle for a week and put the first pellet through a chipmunk’s brain at 60 yards. No evidence of regulator creep whatsoever.

It’s the one I reach for when a pest pops out.

you could get a kratos a cf bottle and altaros reg for it for under a grand .. and if your shooting from a bench, i got sold on the idea the other day of just regulating your bottle and tethering off of it .. why fart around regging every gun when you can just 1 time bam reg the bottle for a buck fitty with an altaros external reg .. saves having to tune the gun to as most regs go ive seen, with an external you can set it to its sweet spot and enjoy ..

P15 and P35. Used to be called Artemis and now wants to be called SnowPeak. I bought a 25 caliber P35 and I really like it. I don't consistently get 1/8 inch groups at 25 yards but I have had a couple. I've also had several 1/4 inch 33 yard groups. Seems to be getting better as it gets broken in and I get more familiar. 5.2 lbs and under 30 inches long. I'm not sure of my shot count at it's current 35 fpe tune but when I was at 30 fpe I was getting about 70 shots on a 3500 fill. Likes H&N FTT and H&N slugs.

The P15 has been around longer. It has the cocking lever on the back of the action near your face. The P35 has the cocking lever in the middle of the gun but that forces the scope to be higher due to the rod doing the cocking. Both have external adjustment for the hammer spring but only internal adjustments for the trigger and regulator.
