Hey guys. I didn't realize 1 inch (MOA) groups at 100 yards with an airgun were even a challenge. I though you could spend an extra $1000 on a gun like a Steyr or Red Wolf, and shoot 1/2 inch groups at that distance. You can't.
Shooting a 100 yard group under 1 inch will involve: (possibly NO wind), (a high end PCP, possibly modified even further), (a skilled shooter), (lots of practice and many attempts), (a solid rest), (sorted, weighed, washed, possibly custom made swagged ammo), (a fair bit of luck).
Now me and a couple of my AGN friends are doing a contest to see who can get the first MOA 1 inch group at 100 yard with any airgun. Any bore size, any air gun!
So here is the rules:
Post your groups here with a quarter or MOA marker.
Any gun powered by PCP, CO2, Spring, Helium, Nitrogen
Prize: Something gun related from my pile of stuff (to be determined), worth at least $100.
GOOD LUCK! -Nate @ Youtube's Airgun Channel
