I spent the last six weeks testing the 10 gr Zan in my 177 Uragan. Wow this is an awesome song. It does not have to be shot fast.
I’ve now shot more than 15 starlings in the 182 to 185 range shooting at 880 ft./
I think the 13 grain Zan slugs are even better, but I prefer the lightest possible slug in the urban area where I shoot.
Knockouts or a very close second in 13 grain, but they have nowhere near the expansion of the Zan. Zan’s make a very audible pop when you hit a starling…stunning expansion. : )
