10 dimes with the JW 60

This is a really interesting target to shoot. I figured at 25 yards there would be little to no wind deflection. Man was I wrong.

The wind today was swirling and changing, coming from both directions, right and left.

As you saw in the title, today I cheated and used my JW60. I did much better, but I believe I still missed the dime twice. My circles are smaller than a dime so they were close.

This is an absolutely fantastic exercise, especially with a springer. You really have to have your head in the game.

That is such a SWEET rifle! Thanks for sharing it with us. Good test of man and machine 😉 Maybe I should go ahead and work up a V3 for the target? I could make the bulls the size of a dime minus the radius of the caliber, shade the centers (so aperture shooters can see it) and put an "X" in the center for scope users to have an aim point? That would make is a pretty well calibrated test of the rifle and shooter?

I just went out and shot. 20 yds is all I can get in my yard. 1st shot was high (and group) so I adjusted down 1 click on the scope. Then threw one other shot. The way I wrote on target is the orientation I shot at, L to R then down each row. Best was the last.

That little rifle shoots pretty good. I bought one of those for wifey recently. It's worth every penny, isn't it?

There is a way to scale a PDF when you print it. That would be a way people could compensate for range. I'll have a look at figuring that out and post it in the new thread so folks who can't get 25 yards can scale their targets to whatever distance outside they can get.
