10.3gr: JSB vs AA vs FX vs Edgun vs Daystate

I know all guns have different preferences

I assume JSB manufactures them but each company owns ( not supplied ) the molds for their labeled pellets.



Has anyone who has tried the above noticed any one of the brands that tend to edge out the others in multiple guns?

I’ve not tried the Daystates. In my guns, the FX edge out the JSB which edge out the AA’s but I’ve heard the AA’s reign supreme.
The only way to know how they will work in your gun(s) is to get some of each and try them.

AEAC did a video tour of the JSB factory, I found it very informative and would recommend it to anyone with questions such as you've expressed. Hope this helps, WM

In the .177s I've used both AAs and JSBs and usually AAs have done better.

Same in .22 with 16gr. But prices for AA are way up compared to others. I now buy FX and seem to be more comparable in consistency to the AA than JSBs.
