1-Year Long Term Edgun Lelya 2.0 in .22 Review

That was a great review, and that’s one nice bull pup. I remember the video where you took the fall, well made gun to survive that. This review has pushed me to the decision to eventually get a Layla. It was a choice between a Tiapan shorty and the Layla. I’m totally sold on the Layla. It’s easy to tell that you shoot a lot with the gun, with the hold sensitivity issue you still get awesome groups, and 10 shot groups to boot! Thanks for sharing your review.

Here's mine.

I don't have nearly the shot count thru mine that you do. Also, I only shoot offhand at about a 19 yard indoor range. Being my fist air gun, I was amazed at the accuracy. Much like my powder burning weapons. Dime sized groups, 10 shot with the H&N, Sniper Magnum, 17.90 gr. pellets. Of the three different pellets I bought, these are by far the best, at this short range anyway. I have not tried the JSB's but will shortly. It doesn't seem to like lighter (12 and 14gr.) pellets very much. Their accuracy is...ok. Not as good as the heavier versions.

While overall...I liked the feel of the stock, the original stock has some odd things that I didn't like, and set out to fix the problems. In all, I made a few alterations until it felt good in both hands at my shoulder. Then it got covered in Krylon Truck Bed coating. While slightly rough, it's a hard coating, not sticky or rubbery feeling at all. I'm not hard on it at all, so I don't know how well it would hold up in the field. But...it IS truck bed coating..!

I've had a couple of different sighting systems on it. Tree different red dot's, and one scope. Even though this EOTECH 512 is hard to see cleanly with my old eyes, it gives me the best aim point, and hole size in the targets.

P.s. - Mine's also a .22.

Thanks, I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.

No, not so far the coating seems pretty tough. No ripping, tearing, pealing etc. Like I said, it's pickup bed liner spray, so it "should" hold up well. Especially just in the hands, not getting beat up by bricks and shovels and other tools bouncing around. I put on three coats with about 15 minutes drying time in between each coat.
