You guys are funny. They're just pest to me. Like rats. If times are hard, I'll definitely be cooking up that bird.

Well, that answers my question. We have a lot of feral animals around, and all are fair game. Chickens aren't one of them. I would love to have a few chickens around the house, but our HOA doesn't allow domestic stock. Funny, a few years ago, cities were forbidden from not allowing 2 per person IIRC in the state. 

I need to check the bylaws and see what may have changed, they could be out of order on that.

Where do you live? Where is this place were chickens just run around with huge yellow feathers on their heads that I could shoot?

All the way in Guam. We use to have a big gamecock/cockfighting scene here until the feds came in and put a ban to legal cockfighting in December 2019. A lot of the feral chickens roaming the wild are offspring of imported gamecock. They take a crap in my garage, dig holes in my yard, kick up rocks, and eat the hot peppers off my tree. I shoot them every chance I get.
