02.05.22 Match report - Diablo Concord CA High power, Long Range Airgun Pilot

We had a great day in Concord CA for our Diablo High power, Long Range Airgun Match Pilot.

This is the first of hopefully many monthly fun Long Range matches on the First Saturday of every month at the Multi-Purpose Range (MPR) on the United Sportsmen campus in Concord CA. . Details Posted  here 

For this event, the team set up 8 shooting stations with different sets of steel targets set at varying distances. Five shooters piloted this first event. Weather was amazing and wind was challenging. One point per steel target 

It was a very tight match for the big dogs...

Pete P finished first with 60 out of a possible 75 followed by 

John B. in second with 58/75

Great weather that day, an unusually calm day, and the temp- Cali perfect! I stood behind the shooting line, watching the targets get Center punched at incredible distances- amazing shooting, with both slugs and pellets. Good show, anyone in the area should come by and watch, if not compete.
