Tuxing TXEDT032 4500 psi Compressor problems

I have the same compressor, letting it get hot enough to shut down is not good. What oil are you using?

Taipan Slash & Slash Tactical in stock!!

I said 10 years ago that I would never pay a grand for a pellet gun, I had to eat my words after buying several that cost way more. I will never pay $2700 for a pellet gun, there, I said it! Words I’m pretty sure I won’t have to eat. I’m just going to have to enjoy my two Vet 1’s.

    That’s good to hear!

    If you started now?

I got into PCP’s a little over 10 years ago, back then there were no cheap guns or Chinese compressors. There were some reasonably priced used Bauers to be had but they were still more than I wanted to pay, I wished I’d bought one. I ended up converting a Hammerli 850 to HPA as my first PCP...

What might be next for Taipan?

I bought it for a friend of mine, it now lives in Texas. It is a really sweet gun, I can’t believe you sold it.

AirMaks Arms The krait line of guns - what's the difference?

The krait Lite has no externally adjustable regulator. The L has a 520 mm barrel and 480 cc bottle. The X has a 700 mm un choked barrel for slug shooting.

New squirrel feeder = busy backyard

Yeah, basically to keep the squirrels hanging around for October and feed the birds a little. Why 50 yards? Well mostly because I can slip out the back door without scaring them off and at 50 you can’t miss from a rest. I’m next door in Louisiana, crows are smart all over. The first one was on...

    RTI Rti Prophet

I have the p2 performance with the gen 4 valve and it’s been great. RTI’s customer service is top notch. I wouldn’t worry about buying the older gun if you can get a good deal on it. My only complaint with RTI is that I wish the cocking lever could be swapped from side to side. Other than that...

New squirrel feeder = busy backyard

I made a squirrel feeder out of 3 inch PVC and screwed it to a tree about 50 yards from my patio where I normally shoot from. Well, the word has gotten out and it’s become a hangout for the locals. The squirrels are really enjoying it and I don’t mind the cardinals getting something to eat but...

Oil cooler for Tuxing 2 head compressor

That should keep it happy for a long time! Just curious, do you know what the oil temp was before you put the cooler on? I only use mine to top off my SCBA and the run time is usually around 13 minutes. That includes filling the twin towers and my extra filter that I run it through. I use a five...

Have you found that “ One Airgun”?

I will never get rid of my Veteran 1 shorty .22. I bought it used 8 years ago and it has been flawless. No leaks, no POI shift, no first shot low, no nothing, just absolute airgun perfection. Yeah, it has rear cocking, big deal! I got it out the other day after sitting in my safe for weeks...

Tuning General Operational and Math Question

I would go with a heavier pellet. My Veteran shorty has a 14 inch barrel and is regulated at 120 bar. Shooting 18.1s at 880-890 gives me 31+ ftlbs.

    N/A New to PCPs

Cottontails are easy to kill, it really doesn’t matter which pellet you choose as long as you can put it where it needs to go.

Other Why so many .25 cal. for sale?

.30 is pretty popular these days, .25 is way cheaper than that. If you want cheap shoot a .177. I have 3 .25’s in my safe, I like the extra thump they put on squirrels over a .22 while still being not too expensive to plink with. One theory could be that guys are shooting more slugs these days...
