I am getting good results long distance using a 2 moa red dot with off hand pistol. As good if not better than with my 2-7x scope ?

I use a 2 MOA Matchdot II with reliable altitude adjustment. This works fine on my pistols. I want to know if I am missing something that is as good or better ?

I am shooting 25 to 100 yards with the small 2 MOA, Matchdot ll, with surprisingly, satisfying results. I like the adjustable altitude dial with visual gage for various distances.. Is there any other red dot that could be superior or similar to the Matchdot that I have overlooked ?
