I love a quiet gun! The velocity adjustment is what I want. I need all the help I can get for accuracy (old man eyes and shakes). Seems a bit heavy for rabbit hunting but if it's that accurate the distance makes up: I won't have to sneak up as much.- moscuba

Thank you for the posts. Might not need a gun; the dog's recently fed me one and I made a great stew. I may not be using the word correctly but on cameras, the rear pane (on mine) has a diopter adjustment to adjust the lens to me eyesight. On many scopes there is such a rear adjustment... - M

Thank you. I liked the Hawke Scopes. Actually, the Hawke Vantage is what I'm leaning to though the Panorama would be more versatile and would be better on my target rifle if I wanted to exchange them (pain to do that though..re-sighting ). I liked the mil dot alternative and they offer AO for... - M

I have poor eyes. I believe I want a wide angle 5x scope as my range is only going to be 30 yards. I need a diopter. I never used scopes before but I can’t use open sight at all. I looked and looked but can’t find something that seems it would work. Also, I’ll be walking and standing shooting...
