Yikes! Definitely don’t want to have that happen. If I get a spring compressor, I’d be more inclined to just replace the piston seal and add some fresh grease. Never say never, right.:)

The Vortec pg4 kit looks great. Not sure my knowledge on spring guns is where it needs to be for propper results. More learning may be required.:unsure:

Where can i find information on trigger adjustment? Not sure I want to adjust it yet but, I may. Need to get to know it a little better first. I can say, I’m not fond of the position of the safety on this gun.

After I wrote that I actually read the instructions. I don’t like the idea of possibly scratching up the barrel for the forward mount. I’ll leave that for the next owner. Thanks again.

I bought a used tank 88cf with a gun off this board back in 2016. It still had a year left then. Now, it’s about 5 years past the date.

It already has a hole in the butt for a screw. It has a few other scratches and dings, but nothing to severe. I definitely don’t want to damage it but I do want to take it into field. Was thinking about a sling with the looped strap for the barrel end Thanks for the other information...

All I see is what looks to be proof/makers marks on the bottom. A ”M” and a “P”. I’m guessing it’s more than a decade old, which could be good or bad.
