Charging the line on mine takes about 5-6pumps. After that, on my Regulated Gamo Coyote .22, about 3-4 pumps per shot. Higher power guns will use more air. I mainly use my large bottle and Omega compressor. Lazy old fart here.
Great info guys. Not really good news, but realistic. I have a original Impact(Smooth Twist).25 version. Added some upgrades like a power plenum and 700 mm barrels. Running 122 bar(Edgun digital gauge)on the reg. Shooting 34gn K.O. And 32&34 gn H&N in the 960-950 fps range. With a clean...
Yikes! Definitely don’t want to have that happen. If I get a spring compressor, I’d be more inclined to just replace the piston seal and add some fresh grease. Never say never, right.:)
I like all the help and advise guys. Thanks so much. I’ll get that scope mounted better(lower)and play some more with pellets. Give it some love, you know. I have PCP’s to go to the next level with.
The Vortec pg4 kit looks great. Not sure my knowledge on spring guns is where it needs to be for propper results. More learning may be required.
Where can I find the kit and information on it? I want to keep it original if possable but, if it needs some work might as well do it right. Just don’t want to damage or decrease the value of the gun. I’ve been doing PCP’s mainly. Just saw this gun and knew this was one of the best as far...
Where can i find information on trigger adjustment? Not sure I want to adjust it yet but, I may. Need to get to know it a little better first. I can say, I’m not fond of the position of the safety on this gun.
After I wrote that I actually read the instructions. I don’t like the idea of possibly scratching up the barrel for the forward mount. I’ll leave that for the next owner. Thanks again.
Very interesting. I like it but I only have one hole in the stock and dont want to drill another. I’m not even sure if the hole is good or stripped out. Thanks for showing me this. Great information.
It already has a hole in the butt for a screw. It has a few other scratches and dings, but nothing to severe. I definitely don’t want to damage it but I do want to take it into field. Was thinking about a sling with the looped strap for the barrel end Thanks for the other information...
Rifle seems to shoot well so far but thinking I’d like to replace the piston and breach seals. Throw on a sling and use it for the occasional Red Squirrel or grouse hunt. Was shooting it for the first time on Thanksgiving, doing some pellet testing at 20 yards when these guys showed up at...
Thank you for that bit of information. Thinking i might trade it for some scope rings or something that I need because I dont want it. I plan on hunting occasionally and some plinking with this gun.
I picked this up at a local gun show back in October. Don’t know much about them. Thought they had gold triggers. This is a .22 cal. Any information would be appreciated. It also came with an Anshutz sight. Just doing some testing at this point and it seems to shoot pretty consistant so...
