I was hoping to be able to hunt deer with the M4 in .35 because of the challenge of using an 100 gr slug. I’ve had my M3 in .30 for a couple of years and it’s amazing. I may have to stick to killing small stuff with them and use my Quackenbush for deer.

I currently live in Texas and I’m looking for a slug/velocity combination that will produce the necessary 215ftlb of energy to hunt deer. I recently purchased an Impact M4 in .35 and would love to be able to hunt deer. Any help is greatly appreciated. Dean
