    Air Arms T200 Ammo

sjs, First, let me say, great choice for your first! Mine is an absolute tack driver. That Czech barrel... Mine really liked H&N 8.18 gr wadcutters when it was “factory tuned”. Tip: you can get a better deal on these from a website called Champions Choice. They sell them branded with their...

88 cu. ft. Carbon tank question

@lenweber2 You are touching on the relevant issue— pressure vs volume. Just because the pressure in the tank is at 3000, 3500, 4500 or the like does not mean that the tire will suddenly be subject that pressure. The volume of air is a function of the valve orifice size and/or the flow rate...

lets talk low power tunes vs high power for backyard

The AA T200. Perfect choice for the OP, imo. I added a HUMA external regulator and a moderator. My best tune (adj transfer port screw): H&N 8.18gr Match; avg767 fps; SD 2.53 fps; ES 9.0 fps; FPE 10.69 H&N 10.65; avg707 fps; SD 1.95fps; ES 7.2fps; FPE 11.83 I mostly shoot the 8.18gr...

Who makes your favorite open sights?

I have a Gehmann rear sight and iris, but prefer the Airforce/Merit setup mentioned above.

Lightwieght short lenght of pull guns

    +1 for a great suggestion. Mine’s a tack driver.

Who makes your favorite open sights?

My favorite rear sight is the Airforce Adaptive model. I use mine with a Merit Master adjustable iris aperture. Love this combination.

    Stressing on 1st PCP

@airranger— good call on adding the reg! Mine’s the HUMA external and I really like it. Before reg: ES 18 fps; SD 7.6 fps over 50 shots Post reg: ES less than 10 fps (6 to 9 typically); SD = less than 4 fps over 60 shots. Highly recommend the HUMA external. Takes up no reservoir...

    Stressing on 1st PCP

Love the look of Cricket Carbine like the one CampFussell has. A great rifle for the money is AA 200T. Very tunable even for a newb like me. Mine’s a pure one hole tack driver out to 40 yards with JSB 10.3. I added a better bolt and trigger shoe, mod, and a HUMA reg. Very efficient on air...

What bar to set a Huma reg for a .25 Wildcat

Bob_O, re: your point #2– would it possible to “witness mark” the frame and air cylinder before removal and reinstall to align the marks? This would eliminate the need to measure the probe depth? tnx, Matt

    HW35E .177 , pellets that shoot well....

Try the H&N 8.18 Match Rifle. These are wadcutters and have proven very accurate in my 35. For a heavier pellet, my go to is the 10.34 JSB. Matt

    Krale-Schietsport experience / review

Another positive review for Krale. I bought a Weirauch 35 springer-- no issues.

    hw30 open sights

No, I wouldn't say the OEM sight is low quality at all. But it is placed at the breach as opposed to an aperture sight which is placed at the the rear or the compression tube. This makes the sight radius longer, increasing accuracy. Also, the OEM rear sight is a "notch" type sight. An...

    hw30 open sights

Mine is iron sight. I don't think they use the plastic fiber front sight on the HW30. Suggestion: if you get an HW30, consider adding an aperture rear sight (perhaps a Williams or, a bit more spendy, one of them German jobs like a Centra. Much fun on an HW30 IMO.

Tom, thanks fo for sharing the pics-- you have beautiful rifle there and I'm certain it performs well. If I'm fortunate in the future I hope to be in a position to afford Crown. Matt
