Latest SIG ASP 20 .22 results following return of rifle from SIG

Great point to bring up. Moreover, Sig stood up and made the marketing claim a reality for me when they replaced the gas ram and ram seal resulting in near 23 ft/lb performance (a 1.27 ft/lb increase) when they could have just as easily used the "up to" marketing claim to ignore my concerns...

    Red Wolf power levels

Question for Tony B, if convenient to ask Can and will Daystate release a revision to the Powerset Programming instructions that is targeted toward owners with programmers rather than Daystate engineers? Thanks Best wishes. The other Mark B.

Minimum energy and caliber for coyotes

I'm looking at the feasibility of coyote hunting. I have a Redwolf HP in .22 that makes 49 ft/bs. Will that humanely end a coyote if I keep the distance to 50 yards (if I can even call one in that close)? If so, is there a particular pellet I should tune the gun for that will work best at...

Latest SIG ASP 20 .22 results following return of rifle from SIG

First the back ground. Chronographed rifle with multiple different pellets. Never exceeded 21.85 ft/lbs (and that was with H&N sniper Lights at 14.94 gr). I contacted SIG customer service (CS) to see how I should proceed. CS spent lots of time with me and with acting as the go between with...

This little guy was oblivious about where he decided to sit today.

I actually had a crow sit on the ground between me and my target box. I did not want to accidentally hit him if he took flight as I was shooting so I put a few in the dirt next to him to get him to move off. He just ignored the first few shots. Best wishes. The other Mark B.

    Since when

And a bit more with tax and such when you walk in to AoA, so it appears the market rate is pretty well set. Best wishes. The other Mark B.

Struggling with consistent accuracy with my ASP20

Just the rear screw as far as I know, but customer service can advise for sure. BTW: I just unboxed the rifle and read the packing slip. SIG also replaced the piston and seal when they had the rifle. So it appears that they put substantial effort into my customer service request. Best...

Struggling with consistent accuracy with my ASP20

Resting the ASP20 I forgot to add that rifle stock sits lightly (that is gravity) on a Protekor rear rest bag. Best wishes. The other Mark B.

Struggling with consistent accuracy with my ASP20

RE: Results from SIG The engineers at SIG believe that the elevation difference accounts for the lower ft/lbs results I was getting. Basically, they took the gun apart, inspected it, reassembled it, and test fired it. The gun was just delivered so I need to unbox it and test fire it with...

Struggling with consistent accuracy with my ASP20

My .22 ASP20 has been out for two weeks and won't be back from SIG till tomorrow. That being said, I too was having accuracy issues. From what I remember, a firm grip while holding the gun loosely in my shoulder combined with resting the front of the rifle just ahead of the trigger guard worked...

    RedWolf

If I recall correctly it was provided somewhere within the 24 pages of the "Daystate Report" post found on this site. Then it again it may have come up somewhere else. Kudos to whoever went to the trouble to get access and to make it available to the rest of us. In any event, here you go ...

    Daystate programing

You personally could tune the rifle to three desired power levels as often as necessary so that the final result is highly optimized for your rifle and shooting conditions, or you could have AoA do it once for about 1/3 (plus or minus some) the cost of the Daystate Powerset MK2 Programmer. As a...

We can send a man to the moon. WHY CAN'T WE MAKE A SCOPE MAGNUM SPRINGER PROOF !

Unfortunately, the Diana Zero Recoil mount fits dovetails rather then Picatinny rails like those on the ASP20. Best wishes. The other Mark B.

Want a soft case for my Sig ASP20. Any suggestions ?

Check out https://www.creedmoorsports.com/product/1753/sale Scopes are not a problem. My cases fit AR's,RAW with bench rest stocks, and Daystate Redwolf HP (unscrew the suppressor) rifles . You'll need to measure the length of your rifle to see if any of the cases are long enough. Best...

    SIG ASP20 Chronograph results

RE: Factory return I got an RMA number and FedEx label from SIG via email. As some may recall, my chronograph numbers match neither the factory specs or Tom Gaylords findings. I dropped the gun off this morning at FedEx. According to the RMA email, I can expect a turn around of 4 to 6 weeks...

    SIG ASP20 Chronograph results

RE: ASP20 trigger pull and accuracy I have about 400 pellets through the rifle. Trigger pull has eased up considerably but is still too heavy for my tastes. In fact, the pull is now the major factor in my accuracy with this rifle. On a more positive note, I see that the ASP20 has potential...

    SIG ASP20 Chronograph results

RE: Spoke with SIG Sauer today in regards to my ASP20 in .22 For those that have been following this thread you'll recall that my .22 ASP20 rifle is averaging 21.5 foot pounds or so versus the 23 foot pounds advertised. You'll also recall that my chronograph results do not match those...

Need Sig Sauer air gun email

Good luck finding it. It seems like SIG goes out of its way to keep company emails from web searches. You might want to send something to their HR department however ( [email protected]) and ask them to forward your suggestion to the head of Airgun Marketing. You might get lucky. Let us know if...

    SIG ASP20 Chronograph results

No not the 11th yet. Looking forward to your delivery. Then I can get some chronograph data for comparison purposes since apparently none of the hundreds of ASP 20 owners chronograph their weapons or share the results. Best wishes. The other Mark B.

    SIG ASP20 Chronograph results

Springuns: Walther LGU Walther LGV ASP20 RWS M54 (sold) HW 90 (sold) Note that all pellets seem tight in my ASP20. As written earlier my budget price gage pins showed an internal barrel ID between .215 and .216 thousandths of an inch. this makes me think deep seating or not is not an...
