I did the same thing, you're going to need a battery wire for the 11.1 volt as they are different. I ordered the wire and the latest hammer from AOA, not sure it was needed but I also read about the hardness. Also upgraded to the new magazine and got rid of the indexer as it broke a couple times.

3 here also, one came from late 80's to early 90's, the inverted caldwell w/bluetooth and the FX - most disappointed in the FX inconsistency and no readings. The one that is 30 - 40 years old runs circles around the FX chrono - just no bluetooth on that one.

I had the same issue with a Maverick, appear to be the same hammer by the schematics. I used a smaller brass rod to knock it loose with a hammer. I held the hammer and the brass rod on the weight head through the side slot while someone else hit the rod with a ball peen, popped loose with one hit.

Turning the "ihs" is the same as turning the hammer adjustment but in finer increments. In my opinion the gun has too much hammer and getting the consistent speeds desired with lighter pellets is difficult with the large amount of hammer free flight which I think gives inconsistent hammer...
