 This trap has been taking a beating for 5 years the last 4 outside rain and shine. Its made for 22 rim fire and has taken everything from .30 cal down to 177 pellets. worth the 75$ I paid for it.

The difference I noticed between them is length, the MK2 being shorter skirt. As for preferred in my Wildcat MK3 its a toss up but Im shooting the MK2s at the moment with great results.

I cant say as fare as comparing the two but i will say I have owned 5 FX air rifles and every one has been smooth as silk and a tack driver as far as accuracy. HW does make fine air rifles but the only one I have owned was a spring piston. GL what ever you decide and post some pics when you get it.

Double or triple loading pellets, transfer port not lined up correctly, pellet probe not pushing pellet deep enough, barrel is easily removed on Impact and cleaning rod used to clear barrel. 

I haven't tried any slugs golfer but I am curious. Need more range to shoot them.
