    jesus guys, the barrel has adjustment nuts for a reason. when the barrel is snug to the shell holder, it doesnt break. ive fired at least 50 rounds through the original 2 that came with mine. i also 3d printed my own (which are one time use and break every single shot) and the gun still fires...

    it seems to function now after removing the rear tank, degassing the main tank, removing the valve pin and reinserting it. not sure which of those operations fixed it but yeah, it poofs again. its weird because when i initially tried to shoot it and it wouldnt fire it was probably at about 4100...

    well crap i also want to keep mine ready to rock thats half the point of owning the damn thing. guess i should have did research, pretty sure google told me it was bad. so if i put a drop of silicone oil in the end of the fill probe from time to time before i air it up its probably a good thing...

    Tyvm. I guess I don't have the same problem, my valve pin is fully intact. I cast my own slugs, they were a little snug and every third one or so I had to really ram the breech home to get it to close.     tyvm, and also good to know so im not stressing about leaving them charged. for some reason i thought \it was bad for the seals. the more important question still remains, do i need to drain it before i can take the tank off and get to that valve?

    also, if i do need to degas, how? im assuming you shouldnt store these things with air in them but i didnt see anything in any manuals for any of the 4 guns ive recently acquired about how to empty them out.

    i think i have the same problem right now with my Megalodon, this is my first PCP gun and im terrified to take this thing apart. do i need to degas it first? 4500 psi is a lot to be playing with in the tank, im generally not a sally but i dont want to get my head taken off by this thing flying away
