I just bought an avenger x .25 cal today. this is my first gun so I am still learning. On the regulator gauge when you switch from high to low should you see a different pressure on it? I will switch it from low to high take a few shots then look at the gauge and not notice a difference.

99 percent of the time I plan on punching holes in paper. But, would like the ability to take a squirrel out if needed.

This year for me has just been learning and trying to figure out what I want to end up starting this pcp journey with. I am still trying to figure out if I want to go tank or compressor too.

I am still extremely new to PCP And have yet to pull the trigger on my first rifle and compressor. Please forgive my arrogance but what is causing these compressors to fail so often? Also, if I am only directly filling a gun instead of tanks will I have a longer potential life of the compressor?
