GK1 Builds: Camping Carbines & Pack Pistols

This is EXACTLY what I've been thinking of for a while. Not that I have the budget for this but this is intriguing to me.

    Brocock/BRK Delta Wolf Help

When you clean the chorny, do you really take it apart or just use a cotton swab and reach in through the front? Anyways, I got to poke around a unit recent without shooting anything and at some pellet weights, the factory does not go below something like 850fps which is still too fast for...

Taipan Taipan Slash first tuning report.

Can one just send it back to get serviced under warranty? For example, AoA warranties their Daystate 5 years and one can just send it back even if it is just one single O-ring leak. Not that many would, but they are very good with that.

Taipan Taipan Slash first tuning report.

Thanks for the update. Based on the challenges you faced, is the Slash worth it over the likes of the well established Hubens K1? Before the Slash came out, I kept reading about how Taipan does really excellent tests before introducing a new model. Curious what you think.

PCP Rifle Notos - So Cal Inland Empire, Perfect, Zero leak, Bone Stock. $190

Given how much shipping would run and the lower cost of these units, not sure that it is worth shipping. I purchase a new Notos and never modified it. It is in perfect condition, never dropped, damaged, or repaired. It also holds air perfectly - after about 2 months of not shooting it, the...

    Cleaning Delta/Alpha wolf barrel?

Only because I read a few accounts where removing the Chrono improved accuracy. Can one still screw on a moderator with the Chrono out? And the Chrono serves to do the initial set up. Finally, some who may already have the DW may want to avoid purchasing a Smart version. THANKS for the...

    Cleaning Delta/Alpha wolf barrel?

Is it possible to set the gun up with the chronograph removed and just have the barrel? This is after one sets up the Advanced setting in all the configurations needed for a particular gun and the chrono is no longer needed. And if yes, what does this look like?

    Cleaning Delta/Alpha wolf barrel?

Did you remove the barrel and used the carbon rod or just put the rod through the barrel while fully mounted and then pulled the patch through? I'm just reading this thread and seems like A LOT of work if one does it the way Daystate or AoA recommend in their YouTube video - removing barrel...

Daystate How long does Daystate support its electronic components before 'killing' the support?

Thanks. I'll probably do that, but I wondered if, being a dealer and manufacturer, they may put a positive spin on this question.

Daystate How long does Daystate support its electronic components before 'killing' the support?

Curious: When did Daystate introduced its first electronically equipped PCP? And is it still supporting that model's electronics? (i.e. replacement parts.) Or did it kill support? If Daystate killed support, how many years after introduction did it kill support? This matters as there's...

Huben If you can only have one and cannot resell: Hubens K1 OR Daystate Delta Wolf?

Regarding electronics, my line of thought is that this is more of an issue with the company than the electronics. With a company like Daystate, I imagine that they will keep making the electronics decades from now. I saw someone post a 17 year old Daystate with electronic trigger and I believe...

Huben If you can only have one and cannot resell: Hubens K1 OR Daystate Delta Wolf?

Well....let me add a question on complexity. NOT including the electronics, is the Delta Wolf significantly simpler for users to maintain (i.e. o-rings) than the K1? Is there noticeably fewer parts? Thanks!

Huben If you can only have one and cannot resell: Hubens K1 OR Daystate Delta Wolf?

Since you owned both, any comment about the quality of material and construction. Did both feel equally premium as fine machinery? Curious. THanks for sharing so generously of your time with multiple comments. What about accuracy over distance if you tested them?

Huben If you can only have one and cannot resell: Hubens K1 OR Daystate Delta Wolf?

I wonder if the Delta is like stick shift while the Huben is more like an automatic. Neither is better/worse. But stick shift generally leads to more mindfulness, it seems. But for hunting and quick follow-up shots, the semi-auto is amazing.

Huben If you can only have one and cannot resell: Hubens K1 OR Daystate Delta Wolf?

The Delta in the US comes with a 5 year AoA warranty and the even fix leaks. Hubens, you are pretty much on your own except for maybe one dealer in year 1. What is the problem with no off switch? Does the battery run down in storage? How long before needing to recharge when not used?
