Airforce The Last Airgun Standing: Talon P in .25

My talon p would also be the last to get rid off. But I do enjoy my other guns more. If somehow it was down to one that’s the one.

N/A Another newbie looking for advice

My advise is to start with one of the higher rated lower end guns. That is what I did. 10+ years ago I started with a Marauder and a airforce Talon. Give them away when we moved. Reentered the PCP world with an Avenger X which is amazingly accurate and powerful. More recently a Daystate...

N/A Favorite pcp air gun for survival off grid bugout ?

I travel a lot and when you can not take your powder burner, I just recently bought a Talon P. Maybe does not quite fit the "survival" but it is better than nothing for small game hunting and keeping a threat at least 30 yards away. Airforce Airguns are the only PCP I have never had a leak with...

    Airforce Great Customer Service!

My first PCP was a airforce Talon over 10+ years ago. Gave to a friend when we moved. Just bought a new Talon P and the spin lock wrench was missing. Less than 12 hours after I emailed I received an email from Rachel that its on its way to my address. I second the good customer service. They are...

FX Just got back into PCP's after more than a decade break

Welcome back, I was in the same boat, many years ago, more than a decade probably I had a Marauder. Then sold it and only kept my springers. Now that I am older I am more flexible with work and life commitments so I am back in the PCP world. Started with an Avenger X and then bought a Daystate...

Daystate Why is the Daystate Blackwolf scope mount different front and back?

I didn't, started it first to see if there is something specific about the rear mount. Then after put a note on the Owners Thread to see what other people measure on their rail. Check the dates and it would have been clear chronologically.

The width should be the same. Most rings now fit both by using the narrower crossbar.

    Daystate Blackwolf owners discussion

That shouldn’t be. I can not think of a valid reason to manufacture a rail narrower than the spec. since my mount was supposed to be temporary I tightened it only to 18 or 20 in lb.

    Daystate Blackwolf owners discussion

I used Monstrum pro, Barrett rings from my 50 cal powder burner and 2 short picatinny rings I had as spares that do not have a manufacturer mark. All of these rings have worked fine on other guns.

    Daystate Blackwolf owners discussion

Good evening everyone, I just posted on a separate thread about my Blackwolf rear scope mount being loose. First I thought it is a different rail since it looks different but then I realized that 4 different rings are loose on the rear and tight on the front rails section. My measurements seem...

Daystate Why is the Daystate Blackwolf scope mount different front and back?

Update to my post above, I measured with width of the front and rear rail section and they do NOT appear to be the same. The measurements are attached. I am not the best mechanic but this difference appears pretty substantial. The front section is about 20.80 mm and the rear is quite a bit...

Daystate Why is the Daystate Blackwolf scope mount different front and back?

I have had my Blackwolf now for a few weeks and still struggle to put a scope on it. Strangly none of the scope mounts I bought or had fit the rear rail. The front seems like a normal Picatinny but the rear is always loose, no matter what rings. I even took off my Barrett expensive rings and it...

    Daystate Blackwolf owners discussion

Well, seems arbitrary, another poster said the 17 does not come with extra springs. Kind of hard to understand why one would and another would not. I think I will email AOA and ask them if I should have received extra springs.

    Daystate Blackwolf owners discussion

Greetings, as of today I am the owner of a Daystate Blackwolf in 22 cal with the grey stock and the 17 inch barrel. I just mounted my Hawke scope and shot it for the first time at my house so limited to about 25 yards. With JSB 18 grain and nothing changed from the way I received it one ragged...

Air Venturi Avenger X effectively unregulated

Thank you Sir, I will try to replace some of the easier to replace o rings. I dont have your skill set or tools but I am about to order a Snap ring plier on Amazon and try to replace as many as I can. It's part of the hobby and I am new to working with o rings. Most of my life I have worked on...

    Air Venturi Avenge-X reg creep

I have a similar thread. Mine was essentially unregulated. I used silicon oil on the outside and it was a bit better for a few days and now it is back to leaking all the way to bottle pressure within a few hours. I also emailed Air Venturi but no surprise. Wish I did not buy the gun. Had it for...

Air Venturi Avenger X effectively unregulated

Well, ebay or any other place is no help in buying a new regulator. Here is my update: I took out the regulator and tried to clean it in case something was stuck on it. I then lubed it with silicon oil and reinstalled. Then I dry fired the *$&)(& out of it for maybe 100 shots. It now is better...
