I would also try slugging the barrel with cerrosafe. The roundballs you are using sound to be undersized.

Have you checked the barrel twist rate? Roundballs require a slow twist rate, and that barrel is likely designed for conicals. The barrel may also be choked. For roundballs in 45 caliber a 1-48 twist works well, and for lighter conicals a 1-26 twist works.

I would recommend getting a Texan in .45 rather than a gamo. Accuracy is much better, and there are more aftermarket products for the Texan.

Hey! Try a .308 rifle, for example a PBBA, Airforce Texan, Quackenbush or Extreme Big Bore.

Have you considered the verminator mk11, not the extreme version. It's a pretty lightweight and compact hunting rifle, that's available in both .25 and .30
