I've owned lots of the 300S, THEE best most accurate Air Rifle out there ...for A springer. I wish I'd filmed it A couple years back, I took A 300S and fitted the -20 droop base .used Burris signature rings( thats all I use on springers) to drop the scope even more and sighted down the 22...

    Life like decoys.

Go get a bottle of formaldyhyde and a hypo syringe. Put your dead birds in the position you want and inject the hell out of them. Give em a week or more and they turn stone hard! I need to do that with some starlings for decoys. Havent done it since a 10 year old,I'm 66 now.

+1 with Qball. Hang a blanket on window , have the gun on sand bags ready to go...bait them birds! With A suppressor helps also!

Question about hand pumps and air tanks

Not to be a smart A**. Lot of hand pumps for sale ...used once! Fork out the $$$ and buy a Hung Yeng water cooled. It takes about 20 min to bring a tank from 2800 back up to 3200+, thats a scuba tank. The 4500 PSI will take 1 1/2 hrs or more. Some one will chime in on that.I'm happy with just...

Will one alan screw be enough to secure it ?

Put a little lock tite on the one screw and go for it. Only using it will tell you if it works. I grew up where we had Rice rats on the canals.we'd walk them at night with a small spot lite and shoot across the canal. A scoped 22 4X...this was 50 years ago! That lazer would of been a kick, we...

According to "Alan" at SIGHTRON Scopes.......

The Leupold 3x9 EFR is still hard to beat for A springer. I sent mine back in and had a small dot installed. So much cleaner than the duplex reticle. You can have them upgrade the turrets so you can put them on zero once your sighted in also. Have owned some of the 24X and 36X sightrons...never...

Hi guys, I am new to the site... I need some scope help.

My Burris 4x12 compact with target turrets adjusts down to 20'. I also think my Leupold 3x9 EFR will go that low. I'll try and check it out later today .There pricey scopes but lifetime coverage if you need repairs. I checked my 3x9 Leupold EFR. Goes down to 10 yds......

Are The FX The Only Adjustable Rings?

I only use the Burris signature Rings. Have been for almost thirty years. you can get all the elevation with the .05+- ,10+-, and the 20+-. You'll never put A mark on your scope ,good for resale. Any of you guys that shoot Springers, its the only way to go. I like all my scopes with the cross...

    SCBA tanks

I guess what they do is fill the tank with water, to check for any weak spots.Better to see water coming out of a weak spot as the pressure builds. I feel that if the tank is not all bashed up and looks clean its usable for my compressor. you can always not fill to maximum and still get alot of...

OK - so I just bought a yong heng

Mine came wired for 110 but was A 220V. Switched the plug, good to go. I did buy another larger pond pump. Used the fish oil for first hour then put in A good non detergent. A great pump for the price! Sold off my $4,000 Bauer. Figure if I get four years out of this compressor...its worth it.......
