So I've put through about 250 shots so far. It's been way more accurate than I could have imagined. I ordered a Diana springer for my son and it came in today. I sighted it in for him, what a great trigger pull! Super smooth. Is there something I can do for my RS2 to make the trigger close...

For sure, I bought a trigger lock as well. I sighted it in today for him. It is nice and tight at the joint, but the nicest part of the rifle is how buttery smooth the trigger is. He will get a chance to shoot it tomorrow afternoon. Thanks for all the input.

I want my son to have an airgun that is tough to cock so I have to be there to help him. I don't want him to have a toy......if you know what I mean. At first it will be for targets from a shooting table with a good rest so the weight won't be much of an issue. I'll help him out lots for awhile.

I tried a winchester(Chinese) and it felt good but the plastic sights wouldn't adj far enough for windage. I only tried it because it was in town. I ordered a diana 240 as the hw30 were sold out and wouldn't be in for 3-4mnths. I guess they are made to order. Hopefully the Diana is good too.

Now that my rainstorm came in I need to pick up my 8 yr old son a springer. What is the best rifle to get him? I'd like something light but not too easy to cock, I don't want him thinking it's a toy. Thanks for your help.

Ya I will be looking into a chronograph soon. I shot 2 magazines and already was at 100 bar....Lucky I bought a scuba tank it would suck pumping. It's hard getting used to shooting a rifle without recoil. The trigger is too stiff on stage 2 so I'll adjust that for sure, otherwise the cooking...

Thanks for the info. I have a hawke scope already. I'll shoot it for a bit then see what I find out. It was 40 below this morning so I can only shoot it in my shop 25 yards till it warms up....lol

Yes mostly for hunting, for now. Would a regulator be ok to add without a chronograph or even that needs to be checked out? I appreciate your help. It's my first airgun so just trying to figure things out.

I just ordered an evanix rainstorm2.22. I hope it is a good choice. What should I look at doing to this rifle once it shows up? Is there a way to get it close to other guy's settings without a chronograph?(Eg. Hammer spring adjustment). Thanks for the help.
