Diana Diana 34 EMS Gas Piston Installation

Good morning, I also have a Lawrence of Arabia .177 springer and the previous owner had changed the spring guide. This one is very smooth and consistent. I picked up the Legion from bullseyesouth.com on a great sale but it felt dry and a bit buzzy so I thought I'd try the ram. The ram is...

What springer did you shoot today?

Today's favorite is my Crosman Mendoza RM 377 .177 break barrel. Although not high powered it has a great firing cadence and is a great shooter. I miss just enough to keep it interesting with open sights offhand at soupcans, etc. at up to 30 yards. Don't underestimate these older Mendoza's what...

Diana Diana 34 EMS Gas Piston Installation

Good morning, The cocking effort seems maybe a bit more stout than the spring but it's entirely manageable and you can still cock it without the break barrel springer barrel slap. Please note that should you choose to take on this project I would highly recommend that you have a spring...

Diana Diana 34 EMS Gas Piston Installation

This morning I pulled the spring out of my Diana 34 EMS and installed the gas piston/ram/spring (you choose). The spring came out with very little preload but the piston was a bit of a challenge. Where I don't have a spring compressor, I used a 5/4" plank and cammed into place in using the...

    Diana Diana 34 EMS

Good point CD! The rear sight still leaves much to be desired. It's all plastic and definitely cheesy. I may try a Williams peep that mounts on the scope rails...🤔

    Diana Diana 34 EMS

Good morning, I've been working with two Diana 34 EMS rifles lately and I'm really liking them. One thing I wanted to do was to change the sights from fiber optic to a more traditional globe and post for a finer sight picture. Fortunately Diana makes a premium front sight for this rifle and...

What springer did you shoot today?

Playing around with my Diana 34 EMS rifles again today using heavier pellets. This time I shot the Legion version with JSB Heavy 10.34 grain. Working out the trigger and sighting however the seated offhand chronograph target is looking very promising (fast too ~ 800 fps with 5ish SD). I'm liking...

What springer did you shoot today?

Just across the basement for primarily for velocity testing. I can hit a half dollar size swinger repeatedly using what I call a modified bench rest, meaning elbows on the bench, with open sights @ 35 yards so far. The trigger is pretty good too, lots of adjustment. More to follow once I get...

What springer did you shoot today?

Been working with a Diana 34 EMS Lawrence of Arabia in .177 these past couple of weeks. This is a really nice rifle that's been shooting extremely well. I've been trying everything that I have pellet wise and I'm finding that so far it's liking the SIG Venom RN 7.87 with 876 fps AVG / 4.5 SD...

What springer did you shoot today?

Saturday was .177 day. Rossi springer, Slavia 630 and a Chinese (B3?). All shots extremely well out to 25 yards. Can't get enough of the oldies.

What springer did you shoot today?

Milbro Model 22 - .177 Dated 11-63. Loves Crosman Domed 7.0 gr pellets. I'm hitting half dollar size targets at 20 yards. Really loving these junior springers!

What springer did you shoot today?

Slavia 618 with Crosman domed .177 /7.0 pellets. I can't believe how accurate this little beauty is offhand at twenty to thirty yards. I'm hitting quarter size reactive targets, tin cans, and sometimes even Neco wafers. Don't overlook these lower powered oldies for some great shooting fun.
