Texan slug weight?
I hold a 3” group at 150 yards. Never shot a smaller caliber Texan but it seems plenty effective to me.

Anyone tried a .458 round in a .50 sabot in the .50 texan?
I am thinking of trying something similar in my .510 LSS. What were your results?

Airforce Texan stripping out issues
My understanding is the heavy hammer spring is main cause of those screws stripping out. I have the AAO kit for my .510 LSS but don’t plan on installing until I have another Texan.

Texan slug weight?
I have a Texan LSS .510 shooting 3000 psi. With 275 gr from Mr HP I zeroed at 50, had a 4 moa holdover at 100 and 10 moa holdover at 150.
