These slugs taper to a smaller diameter to the rear of the slug. With a bulging centre section. Similar to what I've seen others call Boat tail slugs. I think this may be part of the problem. I've measured my magazine openings and the dealer says they are right on spec. I WILL get it sorted out...

I just bought some Alteros 50g .25 smooth slugs for my Huben GK-1 . At war with s large ground hog on my small patch , and want the ( what I perceived to be)...the Binford load to go up against . They just dropped in the magazine kinda loose comparatively , and the rotation jammed right away...

Hey Jerry ; Thank you for your reply. Suppressor seems like an accurate and unpretentious name for it ,and works for me. I plan to just shoot it here on the property , so a quick connect , while desirable ....is not necessary for me .there might be retro / after market quick disconnect...

I just bought a Huben GK-1 ....everybody seems to love it . Nothing bad has been reported..... I hope it stays that way. the original poster's warnings here , are enough for me to pass on the AEA Semi....

Saw a video on the Huben GK-1 ( YouTube) and a ground hog in my back yard. It hasn't arrived yet , and I now realize my first significant mistake....so I won't be shooting it for awhile . Prior to this week , I have not been a gun person ever before.....so it's hopefully off to a good start.
