I have an AR that has Pic's on all four sides. LOL When shooting Freehand I almost need gloves to shoot it! I only mount a Bipod and a scope. I don't get all the other stuff, so I don't need Picatinny's everywhere. Decide what you wan't to mount and carry around. That should help your choices.

When going for head shots a closer look at the skull can aid in your shot placement. There is really no better place than an Eye shot. The rest is pretty well protected. And as far as tracking, often times the blood trail will run out long before you find the coyote. JMO

Thanks for the Info! I have yet to shoot anything heavier than 18 gr projectiles as of yet. I will be trying some 21 gr soon. All pellets needless to say. I will look into trying some slugs soon!
