I also agree with poor packing. I always use USPS. With no problems. The action should have been removed from the stock and both wrapped separately in a shorter box. That's how I always ship. Sorry for your experience, but blaming the federal Government is ridiculous! Good luck

I've owned both. The 604 is definitely better build quality imo. I sold both. Wish I'd kept the 604. Have fun!

This *** should have been the process to follow. Always return to the retailer you purchased from, NOT the manufacturer. The route you took, allowed PA to step back out of the loop. Just my 2¢

I got mine a few years ago from "championschoice" (currently out of stock). I like the split stock style the best. Added some bling from Rowen Engineering. And the multishot conversion from AA. Very accurate, as others have said. Good luck
