I need to get rid of the rifle I got too, can't give it to a kid... Airguns with bayonets, what?

    Airgun Depot Mystery Box Opinions

Yes, same exact box. Happy? I have no right to complain. Would I ever had bought any of those things? Only the AA pellets I certainly wouldn't have bought a springer equipped with a bayonet.

Yep, I got the same box of goat pellets too.

I for one have trusted AGD’s words that I will receive “far” more value than what I paid for.

    Airgun Depot Mystery Box Opinions

On a positive note, I just ordered an HFT Challenger from Airgun Revisions (literally just got the tracking notification this morning) and it’s shipping weight is 10 pounds. Fingers crossed and staying positive.

Confirmed, I got the exact same type of email. When I ship packages to my customers, they get a notification as soon as my shipping label is printed as well even though the carrier hasn’t picked it up yet.

Got my tracking info this morning, it says it weighs 20lbs. I truly hope they are doing this to build their business and retain customers.

The mystery box seems like running out of sorted pellets and betting $199 you can put it in the middle using one out of the dinger pile. I'll be sure to post what I end up with.

Benjamin Marauder pistol, hammer drag, rough cocking, what to do?

To my knowledge, not a darn thing. The pistol had been sitting in a friend of mine‘s closet since 2018. After he gave it to me, I figured it would need new O-rings. Upon which time my desire to modify everything I own took over. And here I am having a blast learning about these things. I plan...

Benjamin Marauder pistol, hammer drag, rough cocking, what to do?

I wiped off all the dry lube from Hill for pictures.

Benjamin Marauder pistol, hammer drag, rough cocking, what to do?

This makes mechanical sense to me. Via my calipers, the Hill hammer is about a half thousandths smaller than the factor hammer, opening the tube via honing would theoretically make a smaller hammer tilt in the tube. However this is my first PCP and I have no practical experience with these.

Benjamin Marauder pistol, hammer drag, rough cocking, what to do?

I applied the dry lube provided by Hill, I wiped it off to find the drag points/galling areas. The bottom, backside of the hammer is the only area galling, I still have the factory hammer.

Benjamin Marauder pistol, hammer drag, rough cocking, what to do?

I have a new Marauder Pistol made in 2018, I rebuilt it with Hill Airgun 105 complete kit, hammer, PEEK striker, springs, fill valve, new o-rings. I have shot about 1500 rounds through it and have developed very rough and choppy cocking. I plan on chamfering and polishing all edges in the...

Benjamin Gauge hole debur... what went wrong?

Here is a picture of the Cratex grinding/buffing wheels I use. I have a small machine shop and use these regularly for profile work. You can shape them with a die grinder and an old crappy file.

Benjamin Gauge hole debur... what went wrong?

After staring at the picture, isn't it strange that the gouges are in the middle of the assembly? I think something hard found its way into the gauge port area when I started pushing it all out. Or I could have missed a booger around the lip and it broke itself off. The reason I think this is...

Benjamin Gauge hole debur... what went wrong?

This was a brand spank'n new P-rod, never been fired, my neighbor gave it to me. It was made in 2018 so I decided to order everything new from Tim Hill and rebuild it (105 kit, hammer, springs, PEEK striker, depinger, moderator, gauge block, and gauge). I rebuilt it, shot hundreds of rounds...
