Do you use the slug liner with your .22?

Hello all, im new to the forum and PCPs. Im looking for a Maverick Sniper. Caliber doesn't matter. I'll buy a barrel kit if I need to. I'm located in California. I can pay through zelle or in person if you're local.

I put the some numbers into a ballistics app and the .22 slugs BC seems to be on par or better than the .25 and .30 slugs.

I've been trying to decide between the .22 and .30 maverick sniper with slugs. Been watching videos and reading on the forums everything I can find. Have you tried the Patriot Javelin Gen 2 slugs?

Thanks boss. I think I'm leaning more towards FFP. Seems to fit best for my use. I think I should be good with eye sight, being 28.

I don't see myself using it at low magnification very often. I like to shoot ground squirrels at range. Thank you for the info.

How far do you shoot your 30? Is it pretty accurate with slugs at 100?

I saw this on another post. If you go off this... it looks like you might be better off switching to the heavy slug liner. More spin for the heavier slugs.

I am currently looking at the Element Helix 6-24x50. Only problem I have is deciding between SFP and FFP. Ill be using it for everything. Plinking, Pesting, etc. Any suggestions on what to go with? (Will be putting it on a Maverick Sniper)

It sounds like a gun I'd enjoy. Something that I continue to learn on.

O-rings go bad fast on the FX guns?

And you said the maverick can run .30 slugs well?

Raccoons and ground squirrels mainly. Have some coyotes come around occasionally. Pretty much pest control.

I was planning on using pellets and eventually moving on to slugs. What do you shoot with the .30? I was looking into it but saw posts saying ammo selection is limited
