Whats the one thing on your favorite gun you wish was on all guns.....

It is always a pain to get rings that work on a gun that don't have rails. It really sucks buying rings for a gun that I know will not work on any other gun I own. If they don't have a rail they should at least come up with a standard for mounting rings, instead of having to buy very specific...

    N/A Air rifle suggestions?

@markhooper Not sure why but those were not showing up for me earlier when I looked, but they are now. Definitely something to show him.

    N/A Air rifle suggestions?

@markhooper The Diana 34/48 seems outside his price range (best prices I could find were $400+). I was looking at the Diana Two-Fifty which fits nicely in his price range. I have seen some reviews on it, seems like it is a good rifle with a crap trigger.

    N/A Air rifle suggestions?

Thanks for the advice @Oddhawk. I looked around some more about the guns and many people do seem to have problems with multi shots. Like I said this isn't a very important factor so I'll likely steer him away from those. .25 cal won't likely work for him. He isn't exactly great with using the...

    N/A Air rifle suggestions?

I went to my uncle's house last week for vacation and brought my Avenge-X with me for something we could to together, he lives in a place with a lot of open land but no where to really go to have fun. We shot it so much that we had to go out to get more ammo (we likely shot around 400 pellets...

    10 shot 293fps ES!

My guesses; The pump is going bad, leading to inconsistent air going into the gun. Something is gunked up inside the gun, clean the insides of the gun and try again. O-ring some where is bad. You might have a small leak. Pump it, let it sit for a min, then shoot. Pump it, then shoot it...

    N/A pellet ballistic coefficients.

I use MERO and element ballistics. MERO is good for pc, but there phone app isn't as good as EB. My problem is nether of them have JTS pellets and I can't seem to find any data on them. For their domed ones I use the closest JSB pellet and it works ok, but I have no clue about the other JTS...

From which point do you range your targets?

I think I understand the question. Your asking if you measure the distance from the target to the scope, muzzle, or shooter? I honestly never thought about this, I never really had to shoot that exact. But if I did think about this I would say it would logically make sense to measure from the...

    Brocock/BRK Ammo affect that much?

In my experience (which is very little I admit), anytime I switch to a new ammo I have to mess with the reg to get the best results from that pellet. And some guns just won't like the pellet no matter how much you try. Like @Brent said, you likely are going to fast with a light pellet.

PARD Night Stalker 4K: the 2024 Top Digital Day & Night Vision Rifle Scope

I love my PD35 but there are two changes I would love it to have. 1. Make the splash for the LRF adjustable like the RF light is. The LRF was splashing on mine was so high that I could not see it while zoomed in. Even at lowest zoom it was way at the top of my sight picture. I had to get a...

    Other First PCP help

Not sure what you normally carry around but 7.7 pounds doesn't seem that heavy to me. But it does seem that gun is a bit expensive for what the OP wants, considering he was looking at rifles at the $300 range.

    Other First PCP help

One small piece of advice for buying a PCP. Don't pay attention to high fps numbers that some manufactures like to talk about. Two reasons for this: 1. Pellets tend not to like going faster then sound. Any fps numbers they are touting over the sound of speed isn't helpful. 2. They never say what...

I'm new as well so I can't give you much advice. I will say in my experience getting a compressor is awesome. But I shoot my rifle quite a bit. In terms of reliability. This might be a bit of a hot take, but I feel firearms are more reliable. There are way more parts to take care of on an...

Air Venturi Avenge X: Barrel grub screw size?

There is another screw next to the one I'm missing, but I'm unsure they are the same size. I suppose I could take out that one and try it in the spot I'm missing . I'm likely going to just buy an assortment pack off amazon, good to have these around anyways just in case something like...

Air Venturi Avenge X: Barrel grub screw size?

I noticed the other day that my barrel was moving in and out a little. I went to tighten the little screw on the rail that holds it in place. As it turns out it seems to have worked its way loose and fell out. I looked up the screw on pyramyd air and they want close to $16 for it (with shipping...

    PARD DS35(LRF) 70mm 850nm

@Franklink I'm glad I could help. Funny, my LRF box thing is the exact opposite of yours. My indicator is about halfway in between the crosshairs and the top. But you likely set yours for a farther range then I set mine. Just out of curiosity; What range where you at when you configured the...

    PARD DS35(LRF) 70mm 850nm

One thing to note; the farther you go out the lower the splash will hit. Make sure you are splashing your target. That box that shows up when ranging isn't always were it is hitting. @Franklink Here is a video on how to change where the box is positioned in the scope, I don't believe how to do...
